    Gone is the colorful array of old doors masquerading as tables. Here instead is a dramatic, almost monochromatic, decor designed to evoke thoughts of the Birmingham area's mining history. Also gone is the children's play area, indicating that this is more of a grownup hangout than its predecessor. The additional "joyful noise" could be excruciating considering the already ear-splitting level augmented by concrete floors, nearly bare walls and high ceilings.
